The adjacent office area was also ripped to shreds, with paper, belongings, and random debris strewn all across the table tops and floors– as if someone had tried to leave in a hurry. And according to the TikToker, the funeral home’s owner had been experiencing something of paranormal proportions.
“Three weeks before [abandoning the home], the owner had told her staff there was something sinister within these walls and that they had to leave,” they said. “She told them she had been working late and saw the dead ‘literally coming back to life before her very eyes.’ She never returned back to work or her home and was never seen again.”
How unbelievably mysterious. And the TikTok community totally thought so, too. The chilling video received over 24.8 million views, gained 2.5 million likes and spurred over thirty-five thousand comments.
“That embalming room is giving very bad vibes, and I wanna cry,” commented one user.
“The scariest thing about abandoned places is that the stuff is left behind as if they left in the middle of a normal day. It is so terrifying,” wrote a second user.
“Honestly, I would not be surprised if there is something sinister,” said a third.
Still, a bunch of viewers actually want to visit the abandoned funeral home and have been asking for its location. Unfortunately, though, the original poster has not yet revealed its whereabouts.
