The helpful TikTok reached 1.6 million people, gained nearly three hundred thousand likes, and spurred hundreds of comments in which users shared other helpful hacks they used on their wedding day.
“We did an unplugged ceremony. We gave everyone one minute to take pictures and then phones down at the start of the ceremony,” shared one user.
“I am making every person put their phone in a basket before they sit down. They won’t be able to even have it near them,” wrote a second user.
“I think it would be a cute idea to give guests allocated time to use either a disposable camera or a Polaroid camera– but no digital photos!’ suggested a third commenter.
You can even send a no-phone notice to your guests before the wedding ceremony if you’d like. Anything that gets the job done and ensures your wedding photos are everything you dreamed of, right?
