Now, she is a bit upset with her husband’s unwillingness to push back against his boss.
“Hubby says there is nothing he can do, yet he has always boldly and loudly declared that if he has time off accrued and wants to take off– which he does– he will take time off,” the woman said.
She also explained how her husband always claims he will “put her first.” But, right now, it does not feel like it.
“The fact that he won’t just go to his boss and say, ‘I am taking off this day to this day, thanks,’ hurts me,” the woman explained.
“This is more than a month’s notice; finding coverage is not his problem, and he definitely does not get paid enough to need to take that stress on.”
In turn, she feels like her husband does not prioritize her. And left with no other option, the woman is now wondering if it would be wrong to go on the mini vacation without her husband.
If you only got one week of vacation time per year and your partner could not make it work, would you go away alone? Do you think this woman’s husband is trying hard enough?
