Thus we have the reinvented show, and this Karaoke Machine and portable multimedia player. It comes preloaded with karaoke-ready songs (from the show I’m guessing), but if those don’t suit your taste you can purchase more on Easykaraoke to fill the 500 song capacity, and then use the USB cable to transfer. It houses a 1.8″ LCD screen, built in 3 Watt amplifier, full range speaker, two microphone inputs, includes AC Adaptor, earphones, and a dynamic karaoke microphone. You can even add a Kayne West like echo to your singing. But don’t worry, unlike Kanye on Saturday Night Live, you are not expected to be a fantastic singer, just have fun. Pricing isn’t available yet but It will be in stores September in both Toys ‘R’ Us and Walmart, in time for the 2009 holiday season. Hopefully the show will still be on the air.

This is all thanks to H.E.A.R.T- Hall Effect Accurate Technology. This new system allows for precision levels 256 times greater than most current systems. The zero friction magnets means this joystick will last much longer than its more mechanical counterparts.

The best news for us lefties is that the joystick if fully ambidextrous, with 2 removable parts that makes it able to be tailored to your desire. With 16 buttons, surgical accuracy, and ambidextrous customizability, the new Thrustmaster is a steal at the MSRP of $49.99. Available in February at Thrustmaster.

Today Samsung launched a set of high-performance LD series monitors that offer seamless multi-display and a new 22-inch SyncMaster 2243QW, as well as the laptop companion monitors LD220 and LD190X. All three monitors incorporate Samsung’s UbiSync technology to help extend users’ visual workspace by connecting up to six displays to a PC via USB cable. UbiSync technology creates a multi-monitor system that can be operated from a single PC without a graphics card or complex software installations. With their clean contours and high-glossy black encasements they can easily serve as secondary displays for a laptop.

Also added to today is three new LCD monitors to the family of “Touch of Color” esktop displays. They have dual-injection technology, these feature-packed LCD monitors have a transparent plastic bezel with rich gray coloring that give it a glass-like appearance, and deliver crystal clear high-definition images. As well as an ultra fast 2ms (GTG) video response time, the P2270 and P2370 also offer a 1080p full-HD experience. The crystal-like bezel frame reduces the reflection of light to reduce glare, and sits on a swivel stand for optimal screen positioning. The unique glass stand neck gives the illusion that the panel is floating. Both this and the above mentioned line consume half the normal wattage of other monitors by using two-lamp low power consumption.

Finally introduced today was the world’s first PC over IP display that is a complete desktop solution. The 930ND 19-inch display is equipped with a Teradici-compatible blade server and IP address that allows data to be accessed from anywhere at any time. It boasts a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and a resolution of 1280×1024, and produces faster compressed data transmission than earlier models for a reduction in image loss. This technology fixes the challenges of managing and securing enterprise desktops by using a chipset that compresses and encodes the PC experience at the datacenter, and transmits it over a standard IP network to desktop devices. Basically, the IT personnel’s dream.

All will be released early this year. For more specs see Samsung’s website.

Nectar’s new line might be the answer to that dilemma. The product line includes two styles: BlueNECK, worn around the neck, and the BlueCLIP retractable clip that may be secured to shirt, pocket or belt. Both come in a variety of finishes, including leather with contrast stitching, laser-etched aluminum, and our favorite: silver plated with pink, blue, or clear Swarovski crystals. With it hanging around your neck or clipped to your side, the chance of losing it are greatly reduced. Fumbling around to find it while driving is a thing of the past as well. Depending on how blinged out you want your headset prices range from $15-$160. Available at Nectar.

How cool is that! It includes sound soothing effect buttons, a snooze button, and a headphone jack connection.

Also new is the Crayola MP3 Player that has a lozenge shaped control panel with five large differently colored buttons for each function, a power button that lights up when the player is on, and a built-in speaker/voice recorder for out-loud listening and self-expression. It holds 2GB of music – roughly 2,700 songs, and comes with earbuds as well as colorful letter stickers enabling kids to affix their names. It runs on one AAA battery and can be plugged into the Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio dock. What a great way to introduce kids to using technology, for an affordable price too. The Alarm clock goes for $29.99 and MP3 Player for $49.99.

The already reddot award winning FM/AM radio alarm clock and iPod / MP3 player has seen an extreme makeover in its new form- Element’s Stardust. 3,900 meticulously hand applied Swarovski Crystals adorn and shimmer the casing. It draws the eyes like a Prada gown and adds sparkle to any room. It is also easy to use with sonoro logo that is an innovative touch sensor for on/off/mode functions. Choose menu options is as simple as a touch of the black circle within the dazzling ring. Now when you wake up you will have the sun in your eyes and the sparkle of crystals.
