Not sure what to get the Jolie-Pitts’ in honor of their 2 brand new additions to the world? Really, I mean what could two of the most beautiful people in the world want that they don’t already have? Maybe the Knalihs Athem Diamond encrusted Nokia 8800 Saphire Arte or a diamond encrusted iPhone .There will only be 20 limited edition cellphones for each made. There have been 1000 Diamonds placed on the Nokia 8800 and 400 diamonds placed on the iPhone. With the 3G iPhone and the new App Store just a day away, it’s uncertain what the value of a Jailbroken iPhone will be soon. But for those of you who are in to jailbreaking your iPhone (or iPod Touch) and you also happen to like saving money, stick it to the man with the SkySMS app which lets you send text messages to anywhere in the world for free. The app uses one of the many free web based text messaging portals online to send your text message out. If you’re brave enough to own a Jailbroken iPhone, then SpoofApp is one app you’ll want to try out. The software lets you call other phones using whatever caller ID you choose. The software also lets you disguise your voice in a fake male or female voice, and it also lets you record your phone call. We tried it out ourselves and had a good laugh at the victim’s expense. Schmap Travel Guides Now Optimized for iPhone

Schmap offers free maps and guides for cities that are complete with reviews and photo slideshows. Their free guides feature dining, art & entertainments, activities, hotels and everything else you would expect in a good travel guide. You can choose from viewing their guides online or via their desktop software which is available for both Mac and PC. And now Schmap has optimized their guides for the iPhone and iPod Touch as well which have a neat Rotate n’ Map feature so that by turning your iPhone sideways you can see places on a map and scroll a list as the map dynamically updates. Their iPhone optimized site isn’t available yet to the public but we did get a chance to try it and we love its neat interface and it seems very resourceful. We’ll definately be bookmarking Schmap for our upcoming summer travels.

iTrip Auto SmartScan & RoadTrip SmartScan Review

When I hit the road for a long car trip, I always bring my Nano in order to hear some decent music. I get so tired of the same rotation of music on the popular local stations in the city. So I like to spice it up with variety. I hadn’t had much luck however listening to it decently in the car with other FM transmitters in the past. I was still using that archaic method of connecting my iPod to a the cassette tape and then inserting it into my tape deck. iPhone Rip-Off Supports 2 Sim Cards At Once

Here we go again another iPhone rip-off. I guess imitation is the biggest sign of flattery. They even make notice of the fact that this “iPhone” they provide is not from the Apple Company but a style similar to the iPhone but from a Chinese Company. We are just very amused. It features a 16:9 screen, a 3.2 inch LCD, a Camera with 1.3MP, a 256MTF card is included as well as an expansion slot for more and a touchscreen…how dazzling! Another oddity is that this pseudo-iphone features the ability to use 2 sim cards without switching your phone on and off…hmmm, what exactly do the people who buy this phone plan on doing with that? This fantastic device retails for $199.67 and will also come with the “Double Dragon in Tang Dynasty” games preloaded. Now that sounds like loads of fun.

Paul Frank Rubber Cases for iPhone and iPod Touch

We haven’t had any exciting iPhone/iPod cases to report about lately but luckily that has changed. Over at Apple.com they just released two cases by Paul Frank. You know, the designer who is famous for the monkey cartoon image of Zoom Julius.  So now there is a rubber case for the iPod Touch that features the famous Paul Frank Mascot on the back. The other case is for the iPhone and is an image of a “Slap Bass”, also on the back of the case. Both cases look pretty hip and certainly would give your iPhone/iPod Touch a cool factor.
