ffuze SanDisk Sansa Fuze Tries to be a Cheap Nano AlternativeThe SanDisk Sansa Fuze is one of the the latest to join the already flooded Mp3 market. Looking very similar to another famous Mp3 player, the Sansa Fuze tries to be a little different than its competitors by offerring several different color options to choose from as well as featuring a FM radio with 40 preset stations. Capacities range from 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB, plus it’s got a microSD slot for expanding which is something we always appreciate. Pricing range from $79.99 to $129.99 depending on the size. It also plays music and video and supports WMA files and it’s got a built-in mic for voice recording. The Fuze is available in red, pink, black, blue, silver, and sports a 1.9″ display, which should be ok for casual video watching. So if you are looking for a cheap Mp3 player that has a radio option and decent looks, and that is coming from a quality company and not some Asian ipod knock off,  you may have just hit the jackpot. Either way, it could make an affordable Mother’s Day gift.

I don’t know about the Fuze particularly, but I have a Sansa Express and I’m very happy with it. Much cheaper than a Shuffle, I added 2 extra GB of memory and it has a display. Win. So I think the Fuze is definitely worth a try.

I love to have music & videos with me all the time, so the Sansa Fuze was perfect for me. I bought it at the Sansa store (www.shopsansa.com) with a coupon code.
