Nec Flask Cell Phone Is Pure Liquid Gold
January 28, 2008 · Print This Article
Solar Power seems to be the wave of the future of powering gadgets or homes. But what about liquid? The NEC Flask which will be released sometime in 2008, it is powered by a liquid fuel cell that disappears as power is drained away. The phone will also feature a touchscreen display and will have a unique sexiness written all over it. There are no other details as of now or even how they plan on refilling the fuel, just these pics we dug up at from the NEC’s Website which feature VERY woman friendly colors. I’m sure it won’t ever be released in the old U S of A but we can drool from afar… (Source: T3 Magazine, January ‘08)

[...] Don’t know how will it work and also there’s no clue as to what will happen if the liquid leaks or the flask breaks ( you can expect all these mishaps, keeping in mind the frequency at which we bang, break or throw our cell phone). And also, the concept of a bottle like cell phone will be quite hard to digest for…isn’t? Any way…let’s wait till it’s out. There are no details on info and other specifications apart from these pics in some real cool colours straight from NEC website and the fact that the phone is going to hit the market sometime in 2008. Gotta say first off, it looks hot. I can totally see a girl wearing this on her pendant. I imagine NEC expect that placement to be optimal, since it is not contained in an enclosed space, and it is easily seen if there is a thermal problem, since I also expect this to get a wee bit warm in fuel usage and exhaust. But, since I don’t really know the power source, I can only speculate.
