nvouscustom NVous Laptops with Custom Paint Jobs & PhotosNVousPC is a new comer in the laptop market but we’re already welcoming them, because well we always get gaga over gadgets that are personalizeable. Their 14.1″ and 15.4″ Mercury model can be customized with the paint job of your choice. The online NVous Paintshop allows you to personalize the color for the lid, bezel, keyboard and touch pad, and the base. Available colors include cotton pink, fuschia pink, mystic, white, black, yellow, red, metallic blue, green and blood red metallic. On top of those color choices, you can also upload your own images to complete the job. Of course, this level of customization is going to shoot up the price significantly, but how often are you guaranteed to have a truly one of a kind laptop like this one. Configurations begin at $1099.

    Well there’s marketing at it’s finest. So much for Henry Ford and his unforgettable quote, “You get a car in any color as long as it’s black”. Basic marketing tells you that the fastest and cheapest way to pump new life into a product is to add color or, if it’s edible, add a new flavor. It’s certainly cheaper than R&D and extends the product life. Good for NVous…it’s about time that someone besides Apple realized the feminine side of computing…it’s not just for geeks anymore.
