CallWave’s Vtxt Voicemail-to-text Service is the Future of Voicemail
We’ve praised CallWave in the past for it’s excellent visual voicemail service. And we also love the voicemail-to-text services that companies like Simulscribe and SpinVox offer. Now, CallWave has also jumped on the Vtxt Voicemail-to-text service and so far we are most impressed with their version of voicemail to text. Currently free while in beta, Vtxt doesn’t transcribe your voicemail messages word for word to text, instead it sends you just the gist of the message. You can choose to receive your voicemails via text messages and/or email and the web-based PhonePage portal allows you to access, archive and search through the messages. You can also reply to any message with choice of voice or text - via your cell phone, email, widget or PhonePage. So far, I haven’t been able to throughly test the service out because I’m using an iPhone with Visual Voicemail, but I did sign up and take a look at the phone page and the set up process and it does look impressive. I look foward to trying it out on T-mobile - however it’s important to note that Vtxt is compatible with most carriers and phones.
