TextAway Beta Lets You Send and Receive Text Messages For Free
June 20, 2007 · Print This Article
There are many web sites which allow you to send text messages to phones free or charge, but the just launched TextAway service offers more features than just simply sending text messages. TextAway enables you to route replies to the sender’s email, meaning you can send a message using the site and then receive a response from someone’s phone directly in your email or on your phone. And for registered users - the ability to store and manage mobile contacts and SMS preferences, the ability to create a mobile phone or a TextAway Inbox, as well as the ability to send mobile invitations with an RSVP function are also possible. And if you just need to send a message quickly? No logging in or registration is necessary. Which is good, because we are sooo lazy.
