Bartering Becomes a New Online Trend
Back in grade-school we would swap Game Boy and NES games with each other all the time. Nowadays it seems like trading has become an ancient art. But that might be changing… GameSwap allows you to swap games with other people. The service is fee free until August 31, 2007, after that there will be a $1.99 fee per trade. And if games aren’t your speed, book worms should check out PaperbackSwap, music fiends should head to La La and DVD enthusiasts can try out Peerflix. (Source: Wired Magazine, March ‘07)

i really enjoy http://www.switchplanet.com because it’s free and it lets you trade all three dvds, cds and games and reportedly soon books too. they also have a program going that support charities which is an added bonus!
I participated in a book swap program for awhile last year, it worked out really well and all I ever spent was a few dollars on shipping as opposed to $20 a book! I definitely got more reading done and enjoyed the variety.
I love http://www.bookmooch.com . It’s free and there’s hundreds of books to choose from. I’ve saved quite a bit of money using it!
