Modded PCs Hidden Inside 20th Century Art Deco

modpc.jpgIt’s no secret that we have a fondness for the design style of retro electronics, which is why we get excited when someone hides high tech components in them.  The Decomatic Model 12b looks all old school Art Deco on the outside but it’s a Intel Core 2 Duo Media Center on the inside. The machine sports 2GB of ram, a 160GB hard drive, an Nvidia 7600 series video card with HDMI and a total of 31 ports so that you can connect just about anything to it. And the Decomatic Model 12b is just one of the cool PCs and servers that this hobbyist has built that is up for display on his home page. (Source: PC Magazine, March ‘07)modpc2.jpg
