Toshiba Gigabeat F-series Color LCD Mp3 Players preorder
Dapreview reports that the Toshiba Gigabeat F-series is now available for preorder at J & R. These color lcd mp3 players look pretty slick and the battery life isn’t bad at 16 hours. They’ve been available in Japan for over a year now but Toshiba is finally releasing it here in the U.S. I think Toshiba would have been wiser if they had pushed the U.S. release out earlier. With the Ipod Photos already out, the F-Series just doesn’t look as enticing as it did a year ago. The 10 gig model is priced at $279 and the other models are a 20, 40, and 60 gig model ranging up to $450.

The screen on the Toshiba lineup is extremely crisper than the iPod photo. Also these units come standard with the docking station and all cables needed making it a great unit and a great value.
I personally like the brushed metal look.
We’re having a preorder sale currently, we are expecting to ship all preorders by May 15th.
